I set fire to the rain
Wow, it’s been a while since I last updated this. I’ve been so busy with school and work lately, it’s ridiculous. Surprisingly, I’m managing the two very well, but barely. We recently had a lot of cashiers leave my job, so the rest of us left have been working 37-39 hours a week, and unfortunately with my school schedule this leaves me with only a small enough time to have a social life.
I finally received my acceptance letter to Southeastern. I knew I was going to get in, but there was still this looming fear hanging above me that was worried. I have to meet up with an advisor in the next few days, which is going to take up nearly half of whatever day I go, since the school isn’t nearby.
This is going to be a short update because I came on merely to show that this was still active, ha ha. I will be writing again as time allows me.

Ugh
I think I hate everything I make. I spent the past couple days coding a new layout for RCR, and though I liked it at first… I really hate it now. And I don’t even know why. But, I’ve been doing that a lot with the things I code/make on photoshop. I think that’s why I haven’t started my new layout for HITS.

And we’re back!
I figured an update was finally in order. HITS has moved to its new host, Aeriferous. I’m sad to see Hostwish close, but I’m happy to be given the opportunity to move, and so far everything’s running well.
Aside from that, I have about a month until spring semester starts, and as I predicted, I already can’t wait until the semester starts. I needed the break from school, but I’m eager to start up and finish up the last of my classes before going onto university next fall. Speaking of which, I’ll be sending in my application to Southeastern Oklahoma State University in a couple weeks, and hopefully I’ll be accepted. I don’t see why I won’t, but you never know.
Hopefully in the next couple of weeks (or days, depending on how productive I feel) I’ll be updating this with a new layout and some other things. Perhaps even add my art work, since I’ve been procrastinating on that for too long.

Woohoo, winter break!
So, I successfully finished another semester of school. I scraped by with two As, a B, and a D, however I’m not too worried about the D because it’s in an area that I don’t need for my degree. However, I’m extremely proud of my A in Trigonometry and my B in Calculus. Hopefully next semester I’ll do as well.
Work’s been going good. I’ve been working a lot because of the holidays, but luckily it’s nothing too strenuous.
I don’t have much time to update this, so I’ll write later.

New car!
I finally got my car! After looking at different dealerships in the city for reasonable prices on cars, we finally settled on a local auto group that had the car I’ve been wanting for a year.
Anyway, that’s my new car and I’m so happy I finally got it!

Politics
As a part of my Government class, I was supposed to take an online quiz to see what my political ideology is. I can’t say that I’m not surprised with my results, though I often see myself more as a Libertarian than a Liberal, but oh well.
| What is your political ideology?
Your Result: Liberal
This quiz has categorised you as a Liberal. You believe in the role of the government to fight poverty, both by means of welfare programs, and economic regulation. You are defined as a progressive in the US, but you are generally favouring of the retention of the current social paradigm. |

Well, hello!
It’s been a while since I’ve updated, nearly a month. Wow! It feels like a lot has happened yet not a lot has. However, I guess it’s worth updating.
I started back to school on the 29th of August. My classes are pretty interesting, however I can foresee some challenges with my Calculus course. My teacher moves quickly and assumes everyone in the class is up to his speed, however I think there are more that aren’t than there are that are. The rest of my classes are pretty interesting, easy, and fun, so I don’t see any problems with them.
I started a new job on the 25th of August. I’ve finally finished my training and will be working as a cashier until I graduate next May. I know most of the people working there because of my brother, and luckily it’s pretty relaxed.
What else? OH! I’m getting a car sometime this month. Since my brother is using my car to commute back and forth to university, and my parents and I are now sharing a car, I thought it’d be good to look for a used car to use until I finish school. My brother will be buying my car from me come tax time, so I’ll have a good amount of money to put on the car before getting too involved with university. Speaking of which, I’ll be attending a transfer day at my future school in October and I’m very excited for it.

Pottermore… and more, part 2!
So, earlier today I received my second Pottermore email, alerting me that I am one of the ~*l u c k y*~ ones selected for early entry into the site. Since I was so skeptical that I would hear anything back, I have to admit that I’m really surprised and happy.
Moving on…
School starts in a little over two weeks. I’m so excited to finally be doing more than lazing around the house and working. Plus I missed my math courses dearly. This semester I’m taking four classes, at about 13 or 14 units, I can’t remember. But here’s what my schedule looks like thus far:
Monday/Wednesday~
Government 2
Calculus 1Tuesday/Thursday~
Astronomy 1
Trigonometry
That’s pretty much it for the updates.

Ugh
So, I had purchased a domain a while ago when I was in the process of looking for hosting. I had had a friend refer me to Kinohost and said they had pretty good service. I signed up and everything, but for the past few weeks I haven’t been able to get the domain I have to work (like, I get constant ‘Sever Not Found’ messages) and I can’t access the cpanel. I even tried to use the ip address I was given when I registered, but I get a 404 Error. I’m just so frustrated. On top of that, in order to cancel my service with them I have to fax them some sort of cancellation request form… which cannot be accessed because I keep getting an error message. Just… oh my god, so unhappy right now. :/

Pottermore… and more
Yay, I got an account on Pottermore!
I’m so excited. I woke up a little earlier this morning than normal and waited for two hours before they finally released the clue. Luckily it was a fairly easy clue otherwise I would’ve been screwed. Now to wait for the welcome email in a few weeks.
In other news, school starts in a little over three weeks. I’m excited but at the same time I’m dreading the idea of buying my textbooks. This semester will be the most expensive, but luckily two of the courses I’m taking this semester (Astronomy 1 and Calculus 1) have continuation courses next semester that I’m taking, so that’ll be two less books that I need. I’ve already checked out Chegg.com and Half.com for the book prices, but I’ve got one more site to check before I make the decision between renting or buying the two other books I need.
